I'Anson Cup Competitions

Welcome to the I'Anson

Welcome to the web pages of the I'Anson Cup Competitions which was founded in Grayshott, Hampshire in January 1901. We believe the league, which draws its member clubs from Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, to be the oldest continuously-operating village cricket league in England, and possibly the world. If you are part of, or know of, a competition which has existed in unchanged format from an earlier date, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

REPORT CARD AT FARNHAM HERALD: go to 'Cricket Listings' then 'Web Links', scroll to bottom.

THE FIXTURES LIST THAT WAS SENT OUT TO CLUBS IS THE "OFFICIAL" ONE. IF YOU FIND ANY DISCREPENCIES ON THE WEB SITE PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO THAT I CAN CHANGE THEM.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHERE GAMES HAVE BEEN CONCEDED THE TABLES WILL NOT BE CORRECT AS THE RESULTS SET-UP DOES NOT PERMIT ME TO COUNT THE GAME AS NOT TAKING PLACE FOR ONE SIDE AND TAKING PLACE FOR THE SIDE THAT CONCEDED. CHECK THE HERALD EACH WEEK.

I am taking part in the RACE FOR LIFE in July in memory of all the people I have known that have died from cancer, including Martin Pryce and Kevin Williams of the I'Anson. Please support me if you can. Thank you.
